Privacy Policy of the Jetveo Platform

  1. Introduction

    Important: By using the Platform, the Customer agrees to this Privacy Policy. In the event that the Customer allows other Users to use the Jetveo Platform and its applications, the Customer shall notify all any such other Users of Jetveo’s processing of Personal Data, at least by reference to this Privacy Policy.

    Jetveo is a web-based Platform and service owned and operated by Jetveo s.r.o. (hereiafter only as “Jetveo”). The Jetveo Platform is a low-code programming tool, available on the website Jetveo, used to create web applications, which includes, in addition to a user environment containing components, modules, functions, templates, and elements generating a portion of the software code for the User, a service which enables running applications, their settings and access settings for End Users of the applications, available in the Jetveo environment or in the User’s environment (hereinafter only as the “Platform”).

    As we would like this document to be easy to understand, we will also refer to Jetveo as “we” or “us” and the readers of this document as “you”.

    The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as those used in the General Terms and Conditions of the Jetveo Platform.

  2. General Information

    The main entity in charge of the processing of Personal Data (the so-called commercial data controller) is Jetveo s.r.o., company ID No.: 02769875, with its registered office at Rybářská 814/30, 603 00 Brno, registered in the Commercial Register under file ref. C 82420 at the Regional Court in Brno.

    The Controller of your Personal Data, i.e. Jetveo, is in charge of the processing of your Personal Data. However, in some cases, we may not be the Controller of the Personal Data, but only the Processor of the Personal Data (for example, if you are an End User, i.e. a user of an Application created by our Customer through our Platform).

    You may contact us with any enquiry about the processing of Personal Data or if you wish to exercise any of your rights listed in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy. We will provide you with information free of charge, unless your requests are manifestly unfounded or unreasonable, in particular because they are repetitive. In such a case, we may charge you a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs involved in providing the requested information or taking the requested action.

  3. Specific Information

    1. Source of Personal Data

      We collect Personal Data:

        1. Directly from you by submitting is to us (e.g. by completing the data in your Customer Account or when using the Platform or in the Application);

        2. Automatically when you use the Platform.

      The personal data which we receive from you may include your name and surname, business name, company ID number, VAT number, contact address, email, payment details, username, or any other Personal Data you provide to us. If you fail to provide us with some of the Personal Data, we will not process it, however, some data will be strictly necessary for your use of the Platform and related services.

      When you use the Platform, we then automatically collect certain data relating to your use of the Platform (see below).

    2. Purposes of the Processing

      We process your personal data for the following purposes.

      1. Customer Account Registration and Maintenance

        We process Personal Data for the purpose of registering, creating and maintaining a Customer Account so that we can maintain the Customer Account, so that you can use the Platform, and set up or change the necessary data.

        For this purpose, we may process the name, business name, company ID number, VAT number, contact or billing address, email, username, or other data you provide to us within your user account.

        The performance of the contract we have concluded with the Customer serve as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process personal data for this purpose for the duration of the contract with the Customer and for a period of 12 months upon its termination.

      2. Handling Requests

        We process Personal Data for the purpose of handling your requests or inquiries which you send us.

        For this purpose, we may process, in particular, the name, email, or any other data you provide to us as part of your request.

        Your request serves as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process personal data for this purpose until your request has been processed and for a period of 12 months.

      3. Compliance with Legal Obligations

        We also process Personal Data for the purpose of compliance with our legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting obligations.

        For this purpose, we may process the name, business name, company ID number, VAT number, or billing address.

        The performance of legal obligations which are applicable to us serves as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process Personal Data for this purpose for the period of time required by the applicable legal regulations.

      4. Sending Commercial Communications and Offers of Services

        If you have subscribed to the newsletter and have not opted-out, we process Personal Data for the purpose of sending you commercial communications and service offers.

        We may process your email address for this purpose.

        Your consent serves as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process personal data for this purpose for the duration of your consent.

      5. Protection of our Legitimate Interest

        We process personal data for the purposes of protecting our legitimate interests, for example for the purposes of protecting our website and systems against cyber-attacks and other misuse.

        Our legitimate interest serves as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process Personal Data for this purpose for the period of 12 months.

      6. Troubleshooting and Improving the Functionality of the Platform

        We are constantly working on our Platform, attempting to develop it and to make the User Environment as friendly and welcoming as possible for you. We therefore need to know how you work within the Platform so that we can analyse this data and improve our Platform over time.

        For this purpose, we may process data about what actions you take on the Platform by means of a screen recording.

        Our legitimate interest serves as the legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for this purpose.

        We process Personal Data for this purpose for the period of 12 months.

    3. Information Relating to Third Parties

      hird-party Personal Data includes, in particular, Personal Data of our Customers’ employees, Personal Data of our Customers’ Users, Personal Data of End Users of Applications created by our Customers or their Users within the Platform, or Personal Data of third parties entered into the Applications by End Users. We use this personal data solely for the purpose of performing contracts with our Customers or contractual partners. In the event that a Customer allows other Users or End Users to use the Jetveo Platform and its Applications, the Customer shall notify any such other Users and End Users of Jetveo’s processing of Personal Data, at least by reference to this Privacy Policy. We process Personal Data of third parties for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the period of 12 months.

    4. Recipients of Personal Data

      In some cases, we may disclose your Personal Data to the recipients listed below.

      1. Public Authorities

        We only disclose your Personal Data to public authorities on the basis of your instructions, where required to do so by law, or for the purposes of protecting our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties.

      2. Contractual Partners

        The Platform is operated and managed directly by us, i.e. Jetveo. However, in order to provide you with a functional product, in some cases we use our partners.

          4. To the extent necessary, we disclose your Personal Data to our tax and accounting office uol.cz.

          5. From time to time, we may also disclose your Personal Data to other partners where this is appropriate and proportionate to the purpose of the processing.

  4. Your Rights

    1. Right to Access to Personal Data

      You have the right to obtain information about whether your Personal Data is being processed and, if so, the right to access your Personal Data.

    2. Right to Rectification of Personal Data

      If you believe that we are processing inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data about you, you have the right to request its correction or completion.

    3. Right to Deletion

      f you request deletion of your Personal Data, we will delete your Personal Data if (i) it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (ii) your consent to the processing of your Personal Data has been withdrawn; the personal data was processed on the basis of consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing; (iii) you have raised objections to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing your Personal Data; (iv) the processing is unlawful; or (v) a legal obligation to process under European Union or national law has ceased to apply.

    4. Right to Restriction of Processing of Personal Data

      Until we have resolved any disputed issues regarding the processing of your Personal Data, you have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your Personal Data. If the processing has been restricted, your Personal Data, except for storage, may only be processed with your consent or for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, for protecting the rights of a third party, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

    5. Right to Data Portability

      If you wish us to transfer the Personal Data which we process about you in the electronic form on the basis of a Contract or consent and which we have obtained from you to a third party, you can exercise your right to data portability. However, if the exercise of this right would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other persons, we will not be able to comply.

    6. Right to Object

      You have the right to object to the processing of Personal Data processed for the purposes of performing a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority or for the purposes of protecting our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties. If we do not subsequently demonstrate that there is a compelling legitimate reason for the processing which overrides your interests or rights and freedoms, we will terminate the processing without undue delay on the basis of the objection.

  5. Conclusion

    In the event of repeated or manifestly unjustified requests to exercise the above rights, we shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the exercise of the right in question or to refuse to exercise the right. We would notify you of any such procedure.
